That’s a Wrap
A pair of good boots can save your life. I learned that this weekend while hiking through Western Colorado. It snowed about a foot of fresh powder the night before, and the trek to the cabin was a lot tougher than expected.
My legs were about to give out after five hours of trudging, but my feet kept pushing forward, mainly because they were warm and dry in my boots. If that wasn’t the case, it could have been a much more dangerous situation.
So I’ll leave you with this: drink more water, train harder than you think you need to, and invest in good boots. They’ll have your back when you need it most.
